Children's Church
Children's church runs during the Sunday service. We welcome ages JK to grade 8 to join us for activities and learning!

Children's church runs during the Sunday service. We welcome ages JK to grade 8 to join us for activities and learning!
The Children's Ministry Team deals primarily with ministries involving teaching from nursery age to teen.
Programs include:
Providing a nursery/toddler program.
3’s & 4’s program, Children’s Church.
Junior high youth group.
Senior high youth group.
Faith builders - A midweek Bible study run by Pastor Dave.
Vacation Bible School - Runs for one week in the summer.
Ladies Ministry
Several women’s groups at Harmony minister to the specific needs of women. We have a Ladies Bible Study Growth Group that meet each Wednesday morning at HRBC at 9:30am. We also have a Ladies’ Craft Group that meet every Tuesday morning from 9:30am-11:30am at the church for a time of fellowship, refreshments, and creativity.

Arabic Ministry
Harmony Road Baptist Church hosts the Durham Arabic Ministry and welcomes all Arabic-speaking individuals to join us for worship every Saturday at 1 PM.
Faith Immanuel Baptist Church - Spanish
Faith Emmanuel Baptist Church is a Spanish speaking congregation who meet at HRBC on Sundays at 2pm.

Library
Our Church Library is full of great Christian books as well as DVDs and CDs. There's always something new to check out! We are located in a room off the Foundation Hall.
Music Ministry
God has richly blessed Harmony with many musically talented people. Music ministry is led in various forms including Worship Teams and several Individuals who share their gift of music with us. Each Sunday we incorporate various musical styles by blending both traditional hymns and contemporary songs together to set the tone for Worship. “Special Music Ministry” is shared on occasion by several individuals as part of our services.
Prayer Ministry
Harmony is blessed with those who deeply desire to pray to God “for all things at all times”. Each Sunday our services are bathed in prayer including a time of pre-service prayer. There is a Congregational prayer in each service. Prayer cards are available in each pew to be filled out and dropped on the offering plate to make requests known. A time of prayer in response to God’s leading is available following the service. An Email prayer chain is available to notify the church body to pray when special needs occur.
Prayer Gatherings:
Open Prayer Group - Thursday Morning @ 9:30am in our sanctuary to pray for all our personal, corporate and global needs.
Monthly - Saturday online prayer time, open to the church family to gather in Jesus Name and raise our prayers to God.
Pre-service Prayer Gathering - Sunday @ 9:30am in the Library.
